Topic: The question of public transportation involves issues of economics, energy, and the environment. The USC College of Engineering & Computing is presenting a Forum on Public Transportation for the Greater Columbia Area that is co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of South Carolina. This Forum is free and open to the public. The Forum will begin with comments from five panelists, followed by comments and questions from the audience. The panelists will be:

  • Ms. Susan Richards, a transportation consultant and Transportation Director for the League of Women Voters of South Carolina;
  • the Hon. Bob Coble, Mayor of Columbia;
  • Mr. Deepal Eliatamby, President of Alliance Engineering;
  • Mr. Tripp Gregory, Vice President for Human Resources at Palmetto Health;
  • and Mr. Sven Larson of the South Carolina Policy Council.
